Alternatively if you initially set your SatNav to the Market Square Settle. This is located in the centre of the town. From the Market Square proceed along Duke Street, passing The Golden Lion pub on the left. Take the first turn on the left into Chapel Street, just before the pedestrian crossing. Follow the road round to the right and follow signs for Kirkby Malham/Airton. Continue for about 2 miles. On the left you will see a warning sign for dangerous bends. Go through the bends and over a bridge. As the lane rises, take a right turn – this is Langber Lane. There is a signpost showing Otterburn 1/3 mile. Continue along this lane for just under 2 miles – eventually Bookilber Barn will come into view on the right – it is the only property down this track.
